How to get iOS 6

After a long time apple has launched it latest OS for the mobile.This iOS has some added cool features

Some that are to be mentioned are 

Maps : Apple has now turned down the Google Maps used previously and has developed the new one.Its simple as you can tell Siri the destination and it finds it for you. But many are unhappy with the perfomace of it.

Phone : If you’re driving or in a meeting when a call comes in, you can just flick the screen upwards to reveal two new buttons: Remind Me Later and Reply With Message. The remind me later offers choices like “In 1 hour” or “When I get home” (a message will remind you to call back) while the second one offers template messages, like “I’ll call you later” or you can set a custom message, that let your caller know you can’t take the call now.This feature is notable

Siri : Siri has got better now, It can now understand more common questions like “When is the next show of Bourne Legacy playing in ___ theater” and it replies with exact information. You can also update your Facebook and Twitter status with the new Siri.

For your benefit i have written down two methods  OTA and via iTunes

NOTE-  the size of the OS is around 625MB, so make sure you use an Unlimited data plan with good speed in order to complete the download quickly

For updating it via OTA   iPhone/iPad/iPod

Step 1. On your device, Go to “Settings” > General.

Step 2. Go to Software Update.

Step 3. It will check for the Update and give you the Download and Install Button. Click on it.

Step 4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Step 5. After the installation and Restart you will have the latest iOS update – The iOS 6.

To check your update is complete go to Settings > General > About.and Check your OS

For updating it via iTunes

Step 1. Update to the latest version of iTunes, You can download it from here : [iTunes]

Step 2. Connect your device to your computer using the USB connector.

Step 3. Open up iTunes, Its said that when an iOS 6 compatible device is connected, itunes automatically prompts for an update. If that happens then follow the wizard. Else..

Step 4. Click on the Check for Updates button in your device summary to trigger the update.

Step 5. Your update will be download and the device will restart to a whole new wonderful world of iOS 6.
